About Rabbi Itai Ben Yosef

Rabbi Ben Yosef moved to Seattle from Israel in 2023. He received semicha from the former chief Rabbis of Israel, Rabbi Yona Metzger and Rabbi Shlomo Amar. Rabbi Ben Yosef studied in the kollel of Rav Mordechai Eliyahu zt”l and worked with Ner L’elef, Olami, the Yedidya institute and other organizations providing outreach and counseling to lone soldiers, recovering addicts and many more. Rabbi Ben Yosef and his family lived in Rome where they worked as key educators in the Jewish community. He also served in the IDF in a combat unit and was a commander in the special training school. His knowledge and sensitivity partnered with life experience and revolutionary techniques in chinuch, learned from his mentor Rabbi Yechiel Jacobson, bring a treasury of fresh resources to the Seattle community.
